How to use Palo Santo? (Quick guide)

Prepare the space:
First, clean and tidy the house. If you like, use water with vinegar, salt, or rosemary/sage infusions.

Light:
Light the tip with a match, let it burn for a few seconds and extinguish the flame so that only smoke remains.

For spaces:
Ventilate well. Start from the area furthest from the entrance and windows, and move towards the door, walking and moving the palo santo counterclockwise if you want to cleanse, and clockwise if you want to seal. Go over corners and areas filled with negative energy for as long as necessary.

For people:
Pass the smoke around the body from head to toe. The person can spin or you can spin around them with the palo santo smoke.

For objects or minerals:
Pass the object through the column of smoke for a few seconds, without getting too close. You can also make circles with the palo santo stick around the object/mineral.

Remember that this is my way of doing it and that many people do it differently based on their culture, beliefs, ideas, and intuition.

Security:
Use a fireproof bowl, never leave it unattended, and keep it away from children and animals. It will extinguish itself, but you can put it out sooner by pressing it into sand or salt.
